Aderholdt Mill

Aderholdt Mill in Jacksonville is a three-story brick building located on Tallaseehatchee Creek.  Beginning operation in 1836, it was the first grist mill in Calhoun County and processed corn, wheat and cotton for local farmers. In addition to grinding, the mill functioned as a woodworking shop. Aderholdt Mill was added to the National Historic Register on December 29, 1988.
